Republic Services provides a 95-gallon cart for trash collection. All trash must be contained in the cart.

Trash / heavy trash needs to be curbside by 7 AM on the collection day.

Heavy Trash Collection

Acceptable Heavy Trash/Bulk/Yard Waste Collection

Heavy Trash/Bulk/Yard Waste – Two appliances or bulky items and 25 bags/bundles of yard waste per collection.

• Furniture and Mattresses.
• Grills – Must be emptied of ash or briquettes – no propane tanks.
• Household Appliances:
  • Refrigerators must have Freon removed and must be tagged by a certified technician.
  • Hot water heaters must be drained.
• Yard Waste and Live Christmas Trees:
  • Bush and tree trimmings must be cut in lengths not to exceed 4 feet, no greater than 2 inches in diameter and tied in bundles not to exceed 35 pounds.
  • Grass clippings and leaves must be bagged.
• Cardboard Boxes – Must be broken down flat.
• Packing peanuts – Must be bagged. Drivers will not clean up packing peanut spills.

Holiday Schedule

Republic Services observes Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. If a Holiday falls on your trash collection day, Holiday service is provided on the next scheduled collection day.
